When you felt like no one understood you
Remember the times when you felt like you didn't belong
The times you weren't really sure who the hell you were
The times when your heart felt like an empty hole
The times when you hurt like there was no tomorrow
Those awkward adolescent times
Don't forget what it was like
Because one day you'll grow old
And all of those pains will become faded memories
But those pains are what remind you
That sometimes everyone feels a little misunderstood.
